In January, the outgoing chair of KTTUK Board of Trustee Ms. Heidi Kruitwagen together with the new Chairperson - Ms. Anisha Rajapakse, were with the team in Uganda, visiting and assessing progress of KTU programme interventions and the development of the homey manufacturing Social Enterprise.
They met with a number of beneficiaries in the markets of Gabba and Kalerwe and also visited a group of Parents of children with disabilities in Ndejje. They were able to witness the progress being achieved especially with the upcoming Early Childhood Development (ECD) facility in the Gabba Market. The UK Trustees also held meetings with KTU management and Staff as well as with the Board of Directors to further consolidate and strengthen future strategic direction of the programme.
